Day 2 of the Art Fair. Astrid is getting a bit bored. Definitely a slower day compared to yesterday.
A long but successful day. We've almost sold everything we made and it's only the first day.
The Fair is going well and it's Dagmar's turn to eat.
It's the big first day of the Art Fair, we were up all night getting ready. Glad it's here!
BBQ this weekend. Enough said.
Fine dining with Zach in between errands for the Art Fair.
I doubt the cell phone camera can capture the morning light but it's amazing.
Bess had her leg cleaned out again by the vet. She likes riding in the car.
I've always been fascinated by the inner workings of garbage trucks.
I drove by this truck on the way up 101 this morning and just passed it on the way back down. Weird.
Saw Rob for lunch, it's been awhile since we've caught up. He still has a day job but that didn't stop him from joining me in having a beer with the meal!
Zach's last day of computer camp, it'll be good to have him back.
Two outs. The game is tied 1-1. Definitely another close one.
Ok, so I do go to the office every once and awhile. It is a nice office but it's nicer outside...
...or just a too close shot of a garage sign via a poor cell phone camera?
How unusual... two VCs having lunch at Bucks.
Did it suddenly become winter and nobody told me?
First time I've worked with hay in a long time. Brett and I started building our booth for the Labor Day Art Fair.
I'm (un)happy to report that Mondays are just as depressing when you don't work.
Little girls like their ponies. And must see them on Sunday.
These motorcyclists were doing tricks on 101 right by the airport. They were very good and very crazy.
Here for Zach's Saturday morning bowling league. They changed the panels at Sea Bowl so everything looks a bit different.
A quick drink after a hard yoga class (my first actual class in almost four years). Now back on the road to the South Bay.
Did they ever pass that hands-free driving legislation?
There's nothing like a good old-fashioned hardware store. And I don't mean Fry's.
Why aren't there more traffic circles? This is the only one I know of in San Francisco.
Sushi for lunch at Ozumo with Michael Bloom. I eat just a bit too well, but am not complaining.
I'm having a pint in a good Irish bar in San Mateo. I know it's good because Stella recommended it to me. And it's always a lovely day for a Guinness.
I'm having lunch with Randy Korba today. Randy works at one of August's portfolio companies and is a great guy.
A meeting in Mountain View. Got to love the flora in the middle of the building. Only in California...
A nice lunch at one of my favorites in Menlo Park, Bistro Vida.
Zach goes back to camp at Stanford for the next two weeks.
My third baseball game in four days. Top of the third inning and the Giants are already ahead 4-2 over Philadelphia. It's a beautiful day for a game. Mike joined us for the game but I'm not going to show his picture because he's a Philly fan.
Brett, Zach and I grab lunch at the Acme Chop House before the game.
Saturday morning bowling league with Zach and Brett.
My car is finally fixed, for such a small accident it took long enough. I'm very happy to have it back.

Can't see anything in this picture? Neither could we. The power went out right before Heart went on. Concert cancelled.
A day game, again against Pittsburgh, with Chip, Carl and Gary.
Out in the avenues for morning coffee.
Renee and I watch the Giants play the Pirates. It's only the third inning but I think they're going to win.
